IP67 Custom Cable Assembly
IP67 is a rating system called Ingress Protection, and both numbers in the rating denote specific ranges of durability. The “6” in the first digit means that the item is 100% guaranteed to resist dust ingress, while “7” in the second digit means it is water resistant, able to survive immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes at minimum with no cable entry. As long as these conditions and allowed operating temperature aren’t exceeded, power and data transfer of the electronics within will be maintained.
